The search is on for people who want to help Thurrock's youngsters.
The council's youth and play service is hunting for people who have the desire to do more for the young people of the borough and would like to join their team.
And they are all being invited to an open evening in Grays later this month.
Whether you are looking for full- or part-time employment; whether you could volunteer four services in the daytime or evenings; even casual and freelance workers are being sought to get involved.
More than 30 programmes are seeking help including:
Youth clubs and projects;
arts projects;
play centres and play schemes; and outdoor pursuits and environmental education.
Jon Bowman, the council's youth and play service manager, said: "This is a dynamic time to join our team.
"We welcome people from all walks of life, with or without experience and qualifications."
he said: "The main requirement is for people to have an interest in working with five- to 25-year-olds.
People interested should go along to the Thameside Theatre in Orsett Road, Grays, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Thursday, March 21, for the open evening.
