Police are looking for the owners of dozens of cars, from Porsches to Skodas, which have had their badges stolen.
PC Steve Simmans, of Shrub End police station, has seized 85 of the emblems, which are sought after by young collectors because of a craze, and wants to trace the original owners.
He found one stash of about 50 badges hidden in waste ground under a pile of bricks.
PC Simmans said: "There is just about every make of car you can imagine BMW, Porsche, Skoda, a lot of Fords and so on."
If you think you own one of the badges, call PC Simmans on 01206 762212.
Two boys, both aged 15, were arrested in connection with thefts and released on bail until a later date
