Southend United will be distributing more than 1,000 tickets to local youngsters as part of the Nationwide Supporters of Tomorrow scheme.
The project rewards individuals within schools, youth clubs and other community groups by providing free tickets to attend Nationwide Football League games over the course of the season.
Blues will be handing out 1,500 tickets, which has been welcomed by the Third Division club's deputy chairman Geoffrey King.
He said: "By distributing free tickets to schools and community groups we are able to offer youngsters, who are the lifeblood of the club, the chance to see live football at Roots Hall."
