Colchester United boss Steve Whitton cannot wait for tonight's big Layer Road home clash with promotion-chasing Stoke City.
Whitton said: "It will give us all a perfect chance to get Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Oldham out of our systems.
"That was never a 4-1 game because overall we put in a very good performance.
"Oldham were never three goals better than us, but to be fair to them, once they got their noses in front for the second half they invited us onto them and hit us hard on the break."
Central defender Alan White twisted an ankle, but it is hoped he will be fit to play against Stoke
