A futuristic entrance to Southend Pier with a transport link to the town centre is to be unveiled tomorrow.
The move follows a wide-ranging blueprint for the pier, drawn up last year, following a major consultation with traders and other groups.
Only artist's impressions of the possible scheme were available at the moment but would not be made public until after Tuesday's cabinet meeting.
