A girl of 16 had an amazing road crash escape after she was trapped in the wreckage of a brand new MG sports car.
The young passenger was lifted from the car and taken to hospital with just minor head and body injuries along with mild shock.
It took firefighters 45 minutes to release her after they cut the roof off the MG which had ploughed into a concrete pillar in Queensway, Southend, on Friday evening.
The driver and two other passengers were unhurt.
