Film producer Lord David Puttnam will be the guest speaker when the Thurrock Association of Governors holds its spring conference next month.
Lord Puttnam was appointed as chairman of the General Teaching Council in 1999 and will be speaking on governors supporting schools in the 21st century at The Grays School, Hathaway Road, on Friday, April 19, from 7pm.
