All the ingredients are in place for what promises to be the most exciting Havering Show yet...and the whole of Harold is invited.

The annual borough showcase is planned for Sunday August 26 and Monday August 27 at Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch and a massive line up of entertainment and events has already been announced for its audience.

For the first time the Portsmouth Area Volunteer Cadet Corps will have three teams competing in the cadet version of the Royal Tournament Field Gun Run. The teams will be battling for the Havering trophy, which will be presented on Monday to the winning team.

There will be amazing motorcycle displays on both days with the Honda Imps display team on Sunday and the Solent Eagles Children's Motorcycle Display Team on Monday.

Other attractions include an exhibition by the Essex Dog Display Team and the largest ever gathering of Harley Davidson motorbikes, Havering has ever seen.

And the show is guaranteed to end in the best of styles with a visit from the Skydivers Spectacular Freefall Display Team, who will be dropping in.

There will also be an array of trade and community exhibits around the showground including the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs' giant 'Are you doing your bit?' roadshow.

The roadshow is currently on a national tour and will demonstrate through interactive games how people can help the environment.

Throughout the weekend, music will be provided by Benny and the Jetts and Channel 5's Lucinda's Roadshow, hosted by Paul Rhodes.

Admission is £2.50 for adults and £1 for concessions and gates open at noon.
