ESSEX JUNIOR TROPHY FOURTH ROUND

Old Brentwoods beat visitors Springfield Rouge 5-3. Rouge took the lead but by half-time the home team had scored twice to take the lead.

They extended their advvantage with a third goal before Rouge hit back to level but the Old Boys scored twice more to win the game.

Danny Buttleman (3), Jay Denham and Chris Beazley were the Old Brentwoods scorers, with David Parry (2) and Matt Glass netting the Rouge goals.

ESSEX JUNIOR CUP FOURTH ROUND

Southminster set up a local derby area semi-final with Tillingham Hotspur, after Saturday's 4-1 success over Dedham Old Boys .

The Old Boys took the lead after 20 minutes but before half-time Darren Harding had levelled from the penalty spot.

In the second half Harding netted a second penalty, and in the final five minutes Norris and Clive Cherrie scored to give Southminster a comfortable win.

DAVE STRACHAN KNOCKOUT CUP SECOND ROUND

Mayland Village provided the shock of the round, the division two side putting out Premier Division oufit Ravens 5-1.

Mayland led 2-0 at the break, and their scorers were Sibthorpe (3), Andy Dowling and Britchfield.

PREMIER DIVISION

Tillingham Hotspur struggled to get to grips with Division Four side Ferrers Athletic and only scraped through with a goal scored in the second half by McCutcheon.

Mundon Vics scored twice in each half to defeat Silver End 4-0, Phil Brown, Matt Elderton and substitute Lewis Sutton strikes being added to by an own goal to make up the four goals.

White Roding scored three second half goals to beat visitors Frenford , Whitelaw, Price and Dunmow on target.

Two Chris Maycock goals saw Beacon Hill Rovers defeat leaders Braintree & Bocking United who failed to take their chances.

DIVISION ONE

Inter Verlatzi remain unbeaten after a 6-0 win at Writtle , all the goals coming in the first half via Harding (3), Defter, Hathorne and Sargeant.

DIVISION TWO

Bradwell beat Old Chelmsfordians 3-2, Jason Brown (2), and Kevin Hunter the old boys' scorers.

Braintree & Bocking United Reserves lost 3-1 at home to Moulsham , John Cordery on target in the second half for United.

DIVISION FOUR

Frenford beat White Notley 5-3 in an eight goal thriller.

Manor, Hunt, O'Neill, Scully and Wheeler scored the Frenford goals, while J. Raby and Hume (2) were on target for Notley.

UCC lost 4-3 to Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves , Nick Gough (2) and Andy Smith netting for UCC, with Mike White, Cable, and Yelland (2) on target for the Rovers.

Great Baddow recorded their first league win of the season after defeating Inter Verlatzi Reserves 4-1. Gareth Williams scored for Verlatzi, while Ross Harding (2), Keith Paradie and an own goal counted for Baddow.
