ESSEX INTERMEDIATE CUP THIRD ROUND
In the all-senior division one clash, Frenford Senior entertained Takeley and it needed a penalty shoot-out to determine the winner.
It was 1-1 at the end of extra-time and Takeley eventually went through 4-2 on penalties.
Manford Way travelled to Caribbean Athletic and won 6-1, Heagrty, Vesey, Hawkins, Lavin, Brent and Singh the Manford Way goalscorers.
An all Essex intermediate League tie saw Galleywood of division three play host to Rayleigh Town from division one and the result went to form with Rayleigh winning 3-1.
Galleywood's scorer was Lunn, with Nicolls, Taylor and Morrell netting for Rayleigh.
Mountnessing beat hosts Gas Recreation 2-1, Moffat and Stuart the Mountnessing scorers.
Linford Wanderers overcame visitors M&B Club 4-1, with goals from Talbot, Wickford, Jolliffe and Bess.
Kelvedon Hatch were drawn away to Old Barkabbeyan s, but had the game switched to Kelvedon due to the old boys' pitch being unplayable.
It turned out to be an eventful afternoon with the game being decided by a penalty shoot-out after the scores were level at 1-1 at full-time and after extra-time. Hatch eventually won 7-6 on penalties.
Shenfield AFC beat hosts Rowhedge 4-2 with goals from Killer, Fanibi, Gillam and Swan.
Writtle had to give up home advantage as their pitch was unplayable when they met Essex Police but the team from division two beat their division one rivals 2-1.
Writtle's scorers were Elliot and Reid with Keaney netting the Police goal.
CHERRY RED BOOK TROPHY SECOND ROUND
White Notley entertained Barkingside and progressed into the third round with a 3-2 win, Grace and Lynch strikes being added to by an own goal to make up the Notley tally.
SENIOR DIVISION ONE
Metpol Chigwell drew 2-2 with Shell Club , Wright and Nwachukwu scoring for Metpol and Wheeler and Brodie for Shell Club.
Nortel hosted Sandon Royals and the visitors collected the three points by winning 4-2, Fist, Vernon and Payne (2) the Sandon scorers.
SENIOR DIVISION THREE
GREAT Baddow and Hutton drew 2-2, Crabtree and Dickinson scoring for Baddow and Nelson and Heazell replying for Hutton.
It looked as if Stambridge were to take all three points from their visit to Ramsde n when Bradley scored, but an 89th minute equaliser from Dorney salvaged a point for Ramsden.
RESERVE DIVISION ONE
TOP of the table Sandon Royals hosted Frenford Senior who pulled off a shock by winning 3-1. Goodchild scored for Sandon with Hart, Blanden and Tagliamonti on target for Frenford.
Thake scored all four of Takeley's goals in their 4-2 win over Harold Wood Athletic . Atkinson netted both the Harold Wood goals.
RESERVE DIVISION TWO
EPPING maintain top spot after their 5-1 success over visitors Upminster , Brown (3), Angol and McPhee the Epping goalscorers.
Manford Way also won 5-1, White Notley being on the receiving end. Toner, Dear (2) and Farrel scored for Manford Way with Aitkin netting Notley's consolation goal.
RESERVE DIVISION THREE
HUTTON lost 3-0 to visitors Wanstead Town with Quinnin scoring all three goals.
Stambridge lost 6-1 at home to Canning Town . King scored the Stambridge goal while Marks (2), Frett (2) and Sartauskas (2) were on target for Canning Town.
