Toddlers at a Wivenhoe playgroup will be having their Christmas party in a damaged pavilion after teenaged vandals kicked down the door.
And town councillors are now appealing to parents to find out where their youngsters were last night when the playing fields in the town were targeted.
As well as the door, six fence panels at King George V Playing Fields were torn up and the children's play area was also kicked and damaged.
