A quilt of many colours will be hung on the wall at North Primary School and Nursery in Colchester in the New Year.
The large quilt is made entirely of squares of fabric woven by pupils of the school during an arts week earlier in the term.
It has been sewn together by pupils at Colchester Sixth Form College and presented back to the John Harper Street school.
Headteacher Sharon Sciachettano said: "A lot of the pupils took part in the weaving earlier this term and it is wonderful to see the finished article. It really is quite impressive.
"We plan to hang the quilt on one of the walls in the school hall in the New year so that everyone can admire it."
