A couple are celebrating their diamond wedding with a special lunch at Williams & Griffin - where they dine every week.
Jean and Walter Parker have been eating at the department store in Colchester's High Street every week for the past 21 years and have asked to book a table in the restaurant to mark their anniversary.
The store does not usually take bookings for its restaurant but has decided to make an exception.
Marketing director Lorraine Barnett said: "I was fascinated to hear of the Parkers' remarkable story. We are privileged they have chosen to return to our restaurant every week for the last 21 years.
"I feel that the fact that they have chosen to celebrate 60 years of marriage by dining in our restaurant once again is a tribute, not only to Williams & Griffin, but to all our staff who, over the years, have worked so hard."
