Magician Terry Machin wowed children with his tricks at a Christmas show in Northwick Park Infant School.
He brought a friendly ghost and a magic bucket for the pupils at the Third Avenue school on Canvey.
Headteacher Emma Lane said: "He was brilliant. All the 240 children really enjoyed the magic and the jokes and there was plenty of audience participation."
