A gymnastics club is celebrating one of its most successful years ever - just 18 months after being threatened with closure.
The future of Stourdale Gymnastic Club was in doubt last year after coaches were told they could no longer train at Clacton's Highfield Holiday Camp.
But, after finding a new base in Great Bentley, the club has turned on the style by lifting a string of medals and accolades in the past 12 months.
Among those who have tasted success are Charlotte Allen and Amy Smith.
The pair were selected to take part in trials for the Essex under-ten team and have been promoted to the eastern region development squad.
