Wendy Welton and Helen Morgan ensured gobbling up the major prizes in Thorpe Hall Ladies' turkey trot with a 23 points tally.
Although weather conditions on the day were good, only 13 holes were open due to the appalling wet weather of recent times.
Ann Swallow and Pat Ball finished runners-up on 22, while no less than seven pairs finished on 18.
On countback these were placed as follows: Anna Leslie and Sandy Goy, Christine Masters and Beryl Johnston, Margaret Shields and Sue Carrington, Maryann Perry and Jacky Wilkinson, Pauline Ashley and Ann Warrington, Sally Barber and Julie Crocker plus Freda Ginn and Pat Tryer.
Thorpe Ladies also managed to play the Pam Megson Salver - a greensome Stableford with draw for partners.
This time only 12 holes were open and Pat Ball and Mandy Bridges won on 22 points. Barbara Ridgwell and Eunice de Vries beat Henny Bush and Beryl Barber on countback after both pairs finished on 21.

Wellie weather for centenary contest
Ballards Gore Ladies' team Stableford was won by Pat Rogers, Barbara Stevens, Pat Spraggs and J Perry from Penny Emberton-Brooks, Jan Hooper, Pauline Fenne and Lisa Barker.
The ELCGA centenary competition was played in wellington boot conditions with Wendy Ross winning from Pat Rogers, who forced Penny Emberton-Brooks into third place on countback.
The last ladies medal at Ballards Gore was played as a Stableford with Gilian Lang winning Division One and Pauline Leeks Division Two.
Emergency action - Essex Air Ambulance operations manager Alan Whitehead receives a cheque for £1,500 from Essex Golf Club captains Jane Bodiam and Steve Burton, proceeds of charity fund-raising efforts at the Garon Park, Eastern Avenue, Southend, complex during their year-long term of office.
