A high-tech anti-bullying scheme has again proved successful at a Basildon school.
CCTV cameras, installed in key areas of Chalvedon school, have led to the discovery of culprits who made a schoolgirl's life misery.
Amy Heather, 14, was bullied for weeks and now thanks to camera evidence her tormentors have been caught.
Alan Roach, headteacher at the Wickford Avenue school said he was delighted with the result.
He said: "The camera system has identified bullies who can now be dealt with appropriately.
"The parents concerned are now involved and those who have acted wrongly will be disciplined to help prevent any future problems."
Chalvedon school has also taken on another initiative to combat bullying.
It is in the form of peer support where some pupils receive special training from teachers and outside anti-bullying organisations so they can help others who are being bullied.
