A new BSc honours degree in complementary medicine is to be offered by Anglia Polytechnic University, APU, from September next year.
The course will be available at APU's central campus in Chelmsford.
A BSc and a diploma in higher education in the subject are also available.
An APU spokeswoman said: "The university has excellent links with the external awarding bodies in complementary medicine, which ensures that the students, on completion of the course, not only achieve the academic standards of APU but also those required by the Institute of Complementary Medicine."
