Moisture got into a switch which shorted out and caused a 49 passenger aircraft at Stansted to have steering problems as it took off.
Two passengers on the British Aerospace twin turboprop aircraft were slightly injured as it wandered to the right and then, as the pilot tried to counteract it, "departed violently to the left."
First aid was given by a medic after some passengers were injured by "some of the many detached trim panels."
The report reveals there appeared to be moisture on a nosewheel landing gear switch which had shorted out.
The accident happened in June last year.
