Colchester United bad boy Kelechi Opara has signed for Leyton Orient until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old Nigerian-born striker, sacked from his U's scholarship three weeks ago, has been allowed to join the east London Third Division club on a short-term contract.
U's boss Steve Whitton said: "A compensation package has been agreed between the two clubs and Orient have taken the player until the end of the season."
As the Layer Road door closes on one striker so it opens for another and Finnish born goal-getter Kai Nyyssonen will be at Layer Road this week looking to launch a career in English League football with the U's.
