John McGreal could be found floating somewhere between cloud nine and seventh heaven after helping Ipswich Town sink boyhood idols Liverpool.
The Birkenhead-born defender clearly had no time for sentiment as he guided his troops to a shock 1-0 win at Anfield, couresy of Marcus Stewart's tenth goal of the season.
McGreal said: "I was unbelievable to go back home and get three points against the team I've been supporting all my life."
Goalkeeper Richard Wright, wearing protective strapping on his wrist, was recalled to the starting line-up after missing matches against Coventry City and Derby County.
