An excellent team performance saw Billericay win this match comfortably at Blunts Wall Road.
A fine unbroken partnership of 167 between Mike Etheridge and Steve Farmer saw Billericay to victory with 12 overs of the last hour to spare.
Farmer finished with a second successive century on 109 (17 fours), while Etheridge hit eight boundaries and a six in a knock of 59. Earlier, skipper Lee Blunden had taken 4-33.

Billericay had much the better of this local derby, winning by seven wickets with nine overs to spare.
A fine 51 from in-form Roger Hayward saw them home after veteran Chris Jackman took the bowling honours with 3-32.

Considering their side lost three regulars to the first team, Southend did well to hold out for the draw here.
An opening partnership of 77 between Baju Solanki (48) and Simon Humby saw Southend off to a solid reply and both Dave Alcock (33) and Chris Chambers (23) offered solid support.

Dave Singh (45) and Pete Stannard (31) ensured Southend made a solid total with an opening stand of 67. Phil Ross chipped in with an unbeaten 24 and, in reply, Harold Wood's spirited display nevertheless saw them hanging on at the end.

A great knock of 78 by 17-year-old Paul Singleton was not enough to save Basildon from defeat here.

Pratt's 4-38 saw Basildon crash to 134 all out despite a top score of 40 from Glen Wickham. Sixteen-year-old Mark Chapman took 2-24 in the Westcliff reply, but 40 from Potter saw them to victory
