An established print company has been severely damaged by fire - but the owner says it will be business as usual.
A blaze swept through the Granta Press store on Rosemary Road, Clacton, in the early hours of Saturday morning and destroyed the back of the shop.
Owner Philip Sherman has owned the store for 32 years.
He said he was mystified as to how the fire could have started but said friends in the trade have rallied round to keep his work going until repairs can be made.
Two fire engines were called to the fire shortly after 3am.
Insurance assessors were calling at the shop today to see how much damage was caused.
Mr Sherman said the back of the store was almost completely destroyed by fire but said the front had only suffered smoke damage and was probably salvageable.
He said: "The shop is split into two with the computers and all that in the back. That has gone. We will be seeing how much we can save but I can say it will be business as usual."
