FARMING and tradition blended the technology of new millennium for the 42nd Essex Shows.
Thousands of fans went to the county show at Great Leighs near Braintree to enjoy the sun and the attractions on offer.
Visitors to the showground at the weekend were treated to a spectacular variety of events and attractions.
An aerobatic stunt display by the Royal Artillery's parachute display team and a daredevil motorcycle demonstration by the Flying Gunners were just some of the events that had crowds smiling with delight.
