Hadleigh will be looking to keep up their recent good run when they travel to bottom club Chelmsford tomorrow (Saturday).
They welcome back skipper Steve Brown and hope to add to Chelmsford's misery as they build-up for the following week's clash with saffron Walden, who are expected to be among the main protagonists for Premier title honours.
Fives and Heronians were Premier champions last season but find themselves at the bottom of the table going into tomorrow's match with Billericay. The Blunts Wall Road teamare fielding an unchanged tea, and will be looking for a win as they prepare for a festival marking their 125th anniversary.
League leaders Leigh are without John Dyos for their Division One match against bottom club Woodford Wells.
Dyos will be out for five weeks after having a leg operation and his place will be taken by opening batsman and left-arm spinner Nigel Holmes.
Horndon and Wickford meet at the Patmore Memorial Ground with the visitors boasting a full strength side.
Westcliff go into their Division One clash against Orsett with no injury worries, although the side will be forced to make a few changes due to players being unavailable.
Old Southendians go to Hutton and, having slipped to second place last week by suffering their first Division Two defeat when Buckhurst Hill beat them, will be anxious to recover winning form.
New wicket-keeper Terry Sims, back after a five-year break with Leigh, is available for the first time. Simon Harwood is also back this week and the two men to drop down to the 2nds are John Fielden and Jonathon Jones.
Old Boys skipper Chris Bunce said: "We have close connections with Hutton and they are a better side than their bottom of the table position suggests. The tables are certainly affected by the bad weather of the first few weeks of the season, but we are desperate to quickly recover after our poor batting display last week."
Basildon have yet to win this season but will go to Harlow hoping to beat their fellow new towner in Division Three.
The squad will be different from that which lost out to Old Brentwoods by 44 runs as several players are available again while other cannot make the match.
Benfleet's rebuilding programme is paying dividends as the club climbs the Division Three table. Phillip Wright, 16, was only five runs short of his maiden league century last weekend and he will be joined by promising youngster Jon Edwards, 15, as the club take on Ongar at Woodside Park.
Dave Nash (injury) and Luke Slatford (unavailable) will be replaced by seamer Stuart Wiggins and batsman Kevin Brooker.
