One restaurant could be bringing Hollywood to your doorstep - via Thundersley.
Bosses at the Hollywood Restaurant in Shipwrights Drive have applied to Essex County Council for a licence to hold wedding ceremonies on the premises.
Manager Kathy Gran said: "We believe there is a market for people wanting to get married in venues like ours.
"Not everybody wants to get married in church.
"Some people who are not religious think it is hypocritical, and people who are getting married for the second time can't get married in certain churches.
"Also, some brides like to be able to nip from the ceremony to the reception without worrying about guests' transport."
