The St Clare's Hospice shop in Maldon High Street is temporarily closing its doors to get a new look.
The shop has been open for eight years and helps boost funds for the hospice based in the Bentalls complex in Heybridge.
Now it is set to get new shelving and lighting in a major refurbishment which will start after the shop closes on Saturday.
Hospice bosses hope it will be ready to be officially reopened by the charity's patron, Lady Wakeham, on Friday, June 30 at 10am.
