An urgent safety warning has been issued after thieves stole suntan lotion from a shop bin.
Thirty eight bottles of Looney Toons lotion - specifically aimed at children - was incorrectly marked up as being factor 20.
Sarah Cheatley, manager of Superdrug in Billericay, said today the cream offered considerably less protection than stated on the bottle.
Its use could leave children vulnerable to potentially harmful rays.
Thieves rifled through the wheely bin and helped themselves to the lotion, which police fear could now be sold at a knock-down price to unsuspecting parents.
