The Chelmsford Canoe Club team performed well at the Nottingham Spring Regatta over the weekend in the crew boats, although windy conditions on Sunday slowed times down.
On Saturday Keith Moule nearly beat the course record in the Mens A 200m, but was still pleased to finish first, and he also claimed a fourth place in the 1000m.
Lisa Gobell had a good weekend over the 200m with a second place in K1, and she then finished second in the Girls A K1 1000m.
Tracey Wilcox teamed up with Lisa to form a winning combination in the K2, and they passed the line in first place over 200m, and 1000m.
In another crew boat, Gobell and Cheryl Dunn worked together in the Girls A K4 to take first place.
Tracey Wilcox went on to finish second in the girls ABC 200m, third in the 500m girls C and second in a K4 over 1000m.
Cheryl Dunn also had good results in other crew boats, with a first in the K4 500m, and joining forces with Jo Edwards, Chris Howe and Gavin Hickman in Boys D K4, to finish third in the 3km distance race and third over the 500m. course
Gavin Hickman and Chris Howe had a good run in the K2 to finish third over 500m, while in the boys D section, Hickman won his heat in the K1 500m and then gained first place in the final.
Steve Moule's best performances for the weekend centred on the Mens B 200m events, with a first place in K2 and second in K1.
Also in Mens B Mark Cole joined a Richmond crew in the K4 500m and finished third.
Tom Head excelled in the crew boats in Mens C with a second place in K2 over 500m and 100m.
Lindsey Wilcox made her second appearance at Nottingham and came sixth in the 500m K1 Girls D event.
Mike Head raced Mens Vet B, and again this was another good result in the crew boats as his K4 finished third in the 1000m.
Roger Edwards also competed with the veterans, by taking part in the K4 1000m.
