The sky's the limit for a brave nurse who is taking a daring leap to raise money for charity.

Denise Pratt, 21, who works as an auxiliary nurse on ward B8 at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, has come up with a soaring idea to raise money.

She is taking part in a 10,000ft tandem skydive at Cambridge Airfield on Saturday, March 25, to collect cash for new equipment at the ward.

Denise said: "So far I've raised over £250 and I would like to raise a lot more. If anybody would care to sponsor me any amount, however small, will be extremely appreciated."

Anyone interested in sponsoring Denise should contact the ward on 01245 514460.
