A garage manager who teased his partner about marriage proposals was caught out when she proposed to him on Leap Day.
Alan Kidd, 28, had spent much of February 29, the traditional day for female marriage proposals, teasing Dawn Comer, 30, at their home in Crow Lane, Weeley.
But she tricked him into a meal out with the family and proposed to him at the Bowling Green pub, Weeley.
The couple are now planning to get married in June next year.
