Southend United (Score) missed out on the chance to regain the top spot of the Eastern Section table when they drew away to East Thurrock United.
That meant Canvey Island stay top of the (Seatex Design) Eastern Junior Alliance division.
Canvey-based Concord Rangers picked up the spoils by beating Pitsea side Bowers United 1-0 at home, while Basildon United went down 2-1 at Maldon Town.
