The first of these was between husband and wife Maxine and Don Poulter, the latter winning by six shots to four.

The second was between Jill Wilson and Shane Chapman, and Jill had the upper hand, winning by five shots to one.

The final saw some good bowls but Don had a 7-2 victory to win the trophy. This was presented by club chairman Mr Bill Amos.

Playing at home to Black Notley Community Association, Hunters were hoping to turn the tables after losing at Notley earlier in ths season

However, this wasn't to be, for of the 12 games played they won five, drew one, and lost six and also lost 54-46 on shots.

For the hosts, team V won both of their games by 8-3 and 6-4.
