Four men are being interviewed in connection with the death of millionaire businessman Tony Fetherston.

Mr Fetherston, 67, a lifelong member of Walton and Frinton Yacht Club, died in January after being shot by a gunman in the garden of his property in St Kitts in the Caribbean.

He was commodore at the club in 1964 and 1965 and his family had a home in Greenway, Frinton, for many years.

Now detectives in St Kitts have interviewed four men and are using DNA samples taken from them to see if they match a mask and trousers left at the scene of the shooting.

Deputy police commissioner Robert Jeffers said: "We are still waiting for results from forensics in Barbados because we don't have the facilities."

He added the four men had been released pending further investigations.
