In the Southend Borough Combination Veterans League Senior Executive Cup, Premier Division Chapel United came out winners in a Titanic struggle with Eastwoodbury Ramblers. They won 4-2 after extra-time.
Munns, Raymond, Williams and Foukes all got on the scoresheet for Chapel.
Pegasus also needed extra-time to see off Stambridge United 2-0. Burns and Chick scored for the Corringham outfit.
Strollers eased into the quarter-finals with a 4-1 win over First Division high-fliers Benfleet.
Maltby closed the gap on leaders Fords with a 2-1 win over Canvey Island, Heald scoring both.
Courtlands Park continued their great run in the First Division with a 2-0 win over struggling Wheatleys. Laindon and Concord shared a 1-1 draw.
Second Division leaders Hullbridge Sports had a comfortable 8-0 win over bottom club Estrada, Heaver scoring a hat-trick.
Brit Athletic, in second place, lost ground after drawing 2-2 with Nicholas Colts, who stay third. Struggling Benfleet 2nd had a surprise 2-1 win at Zeus. Ekco 2nd and Ambleside shared a 1-1 draw.
The top three in Division Three all notched up impressive victories. Leaders Rochford won 8-0 against Brit Athletic 2nd, Wright scoring four.
Old Southendian beat Leigh Ramblers 5-0 with Kernott grabbing two.
Haydon Manor kept their 100 per cent record after seeing off Lions 10-0. Stewart and Gardner both scored four.
Chalkwell still cling to an outside chance of promotion thanks to their 2-1 win over William de Ferrers.
