Sidney Higgins thought on his feet about how he could raise some money in memory of his popular older brother.
He decided to do a sponsored 30-minute dance and, with the help of his three cousins, raised £700.
Football fan Brett, 16, of Malgraves, Pitsea, died while awaiting a lifesaving heart and lung transplant. His dying wish was that a Dreamcast computer system be donated to the hospital ward he was on, for other youngsters to enjoy.
Thanks to Sidney, who has special needs, Brett's dying wish is about to come true.
