The Colchester Sea Angling Club fished their first competition of the new year on the River Orwell on Sunday but catches were disappointing with just over 12lb of flounders weighed in.
The result was as follows:
Willie Duncan: 3lb 3ozs
Ralph Sibbins: 2lb 7 ozs
Ray Hempstead: 1lb 5oz
Mark Sessions: 1lb 5ozs
The next match will be at Brightlingsea on Saturday February 26 at 10.00am. The next club meeting will be on February 1 at 8.00pm in the The Huntsman, Shrub End Road Colchester.
