Billericay Town had a wasted Saturday afternoon when they arrived at Hampton and Richmond for their Premier match to find that late rain had waterlogged the already very heavy pitch.
Manager Gary Calder took advantage by dashing to Chesham to see the home side managed by former Billericay boss John Kendall beat Purfleet 1-0. The New Lodge side now go to Chesham in the League Cup quarter-finals.
