Heybridge Swifts were due to continue their fight against relegation from the Ryman League premier division last night when they took on in-form St Albans City at Scraley Road.
City, are second in the league, were set to feature in their line-up former Swifts favourites Ashley Vickers and John Pollard.
The Swifts, who on Monday landed a home draw in the FA Trophy fourth round against either Purfleet or Newport (IOW), had captain Ben Lewis suspended, while Sean Caton (ankle) and Alex Fiddes (knee) were both injured.
In division two Witham Town faced a very tough task when they travelled to one of the championship favourites, Hemel Hempstead.
Amazingly, Witham beat Hemel at Spa Road earlier in the season to record their first win of the campaign.
But Hemel - who have former Colchester goalkeeper Tamer Fernandes in their squad - were smarting after their defeat by Wivenhoe on Saturday and Witham weren't expected to get anything from the game.
In the Eastern Floodlight Competition, Halstead Town entertained Tiptree United at Rosemary Lane.
