A man has been arrested in connection with a street shooting in Colchester.
A local man, aged 40, was arrested last night following Sunday night's incident in Magnolia Drive.
He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The victim, named today as unemployed Mark Lambert, 38, of Ipswich, was due to have a second operation to a gunshot wound in his left leg at Broomfield Hospital today.
His condition is not life-threatening.
