In Division One top of the table Intersports could only manage a draw with second from bottom Selcombe Athletic.
Tim Casady's goal gave Selcombe the lead before Paul Knock equalised to make the score 1-1 at the interval.
Lee Osbourne's strike regained the lead for Selcombe and they looked set to take all the points, but five minutes from time, Knock found a way through to level the scores and give Inter a share of the points.
Danbury had a good start to the new year with a 6-2 victory over Great Baddow.
Baddow looked like they were going to make a fight of it after holding Danbury to a 1-1 scoreline at half time, Andy Annal scoring for Danbury and Scott Clark for Baddow.
In the second half, Danbury stepped up a gear and Baddow were left trailing.
Annal added another goal and Danny Kirkham, Doug Kirkham, Mark Johnson and Nick Reeves were also on target as Danbury eventually ran out comfortable winners.
Baddow's second goal came via Matt Baker's penalty.
Bridge Street Hearts recorded a 2-1 win over White Ursa.
Hearts went into the lead when Gavin Hurren converted a penalty and John Utley extended the lead just before half time.
Hearts kept their heads in the second half and Ursa could only find the net once, Wayne Petchey scoring.
