Police have issued an e-fit of a youth they want to talk to in connection with an unprovoked assault on a Brentwood teenager.
The attack took place at 2.30pm on New Year's Eve, leaving the 13-year-old victim lying unconscious in a pool of blood near Priests Lane, Brentwood.
the attacker is described as white, 15 to 16 years old, 5ft 9in, of broad build with short, possibly dyed blond hair in a curtain style.
He is thought to have a mole on his left cheek.
Police have also issued descriptions of two of his three accomplices, both of whom are also white and of the same age.
