Staff at a Hadleigh school are hoping to give youngsters a better start to their education by admitting them earlier.
The four-year-olds, starting at Westwood School, are currently taken in at two stages throughout the year.
Now teachers at the school in Beresford Close want to give them the same chances and enroll them all at the start of the academic year in September.
Headteacher Elizabeth Taverner, said: "We are hoping to bring them all in, whether it is full or part-time, in September. There is obviously a lot of red tape but we are hoping to start it this September."
