Ten men and a youth accused of being behind a major drugs ring have again been remanded in custody by magistrates.
The group appeared in pairs at Basildon Magistrates Court accused of conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine in and around Basildon.
It was the fifth time they had appeared before the town's magistrates since their arrest in October.
There were no bail applications and all were remanded in custody to reappear before the court on January 24.
They include Matthew Nicholls and Lee Bowen, both 26 and from the Hyde, Laindon; Mark Blackford, 28, of Sandon Road, Pitsea; Shane Bennett, 28, of Southwark Park, Basildon; Russell Mason, 25, of Mellow Purgess Close, Laindon; Lee Nathan, 28, and David Brockett, 27, both of Bockingham Green, Basildon, Trevor Jones, 25, of Ravenscourt Drive, Laindon, Terry Leeks, 25, of Hastings Road, Southend and a 17-year-old , who cannot be named for legal reasons.
