A teenager who went missing after a new year row has refused to tell her parents if she is coming home - despite her dad pacing the streets of Southend in a bid to find her.
Tracey Curtis-Wiggins hasn't been seen by dad Gary, mum Debbie, and six-year-old sister Sophie since she was dropped off at Cecil Jones High School in Eastern Avenue on Wednesday morning.
Police contacted relatives as far away as Scunthorpe in a bid to find the 15-year-old, of Blenheim Chase, Leigh.
Tracey telephoned her family over the weekend but refused to say where she was or if she was coming home, said dad Gary Curtis-Wiggins.
He said: "I have no idea where she is or if she's ok. We don't really know what to do now."
Dad Gary said he had been walking the streets almost every hour looking for signs of her.
He said: "I called everyone I could think of, her friends, the school. I've walked along the seafront with a picture of her asking passers-by if they knew anything."
Tracey had been grounded by her parents on January 1 after staying out all night at a New Year's Eve party.
Missing - Tracey, 15, was last seen at school
