Injuries will force Chelmsford City manager Gary Bellamy to have a match day roll call on Saturday before selecting his side for the difficult Dr Martens League match away to Sittingbourne (kick off 3pm).
Definitely out is goalkeeper Paul Catley (another hamstring injury), Tesfaye Bramble (groin) and recent signing Keith Newby (ankle) while Mark Kane has returned to Dagenham & Redbridge, which leaves the manager with a fairly depleted squad, although both Gavin Crane and John Girling should be fit enough to make the substitutes' bench.
Young Tottenham youth goalkeeper Gavin Kelly has been retained for another month on loan and will deputise for Catley while the manager hopes to be able to field the same side that beat Erith.
"It was a comfortable win, although only by one goal, but I was particularly pleased with both the way we played as a team and the chances we created," he said.
"We should have scored more and I think had we scored one early on then we would have won by five or six goals. It's all about confidence and the players showed this and we have the right balance in the side despite the in-juries."
He added: "Three points was important although we are still behind the others simply because we are now paying for our successful FA Cup run and on top of that we now have a run of away games."
Bellamy is still looking to strengthen his squad and he is this week talking to a 19-year-old midfielder who has been playing for Nationwide Conference side Stevenage Borough.
After Saturday's game, City are away to Southend Manor in the Eastern Floodlight Competition on Tuesday (kick off 7.30 pm) followed by a visit to Bashley tomorrow week.
For City's match at Sittingbourne, the supporters' club are running a coach leaving the County Hotel at 12.15pm and the Wood Street roundabout at 12.30pm.
The journey is free for those supporters who travelled by coach to Sittingbourne in October, otherwise the return fare is £5 for adults, and £3 for juniors.
Bookings can be made on 01245 283244.
