After a two week break, there is a chance to look forward to see where our winners may be coming from.

In Senior Division One, current champions Bishops Stortford Swifts are sitting at the top of the pile a little earlier this time round, but there is a close chasing pack with Shell Club after their surprise promotion, keeping the pressure on at the top.

After slow starts, Kelvedon Hatch and Frenford Senior are back in touch, while Takeley are a little off the pace with the other promoted side Sandon Royals looking as if they will not be making a quick return.

Below these in the current table all the other clubs are in single figures for games played and would hope the second half of the season will bring much needed points and in the case of foot of the table Runwell Hospital their first win and hopes, after all their problems, of climbing to safety.

The race to see who will gain a place in the top flight looks interesting and, at the moment, there is a surprise name at the top of Senior Division Two in the shape of Epping, although they have played four more games than Nortel and Harold Wood with the latter having just taken the scalp of Nortel in a County Cup tie.
