Gidea Park Tennis Club have been celebrating making club history, after both their ladies and mens teams were declared champions of their respective Slazenger Essex League Division One.
It was the seventh time that the ladies had won the title and the first time since 1980.
They won five of their six matches and finished just ahead of second placed Westcliff Hard.
Gidea Park Ladies Team Captain Marge Rimmer collected the trophy on behalf of her team at the recent Annual General Meeting of the Essex League.
For the men it was their fourth success, but more satisfying was the fact that they retained it from last year.
They won all seven of their matches to take the title from Westcliff Hard and Essex Tennis Club.
Team captain Wayne Lemoine collected the trophy on behalf of his team.
Only Westcliff Hard in 1963/64 and Connaught in 1985 have managed to win both the ladies and mens divisions in the same year.
