Cut above - Thorpe Bay Tennis Club's coach Jon Lee lost his locks as the club strived to raise cash for two pulse oxymeters for Southend Hospital's paediatric ward. John is pictured being shorn by Jerry Bell. The stunt raised £400 but the overall amount the club raised reached £5,000. The oxymeters cost £2,000 each and the extra money will be donated to the ward.
