A fast-bowling legend surprised young cricketers on a winter tour of Australia.
Pupils from Felsted School, near Braintree, were playing cricket in Perth, Western Australia, against local side Scotch College.
A morning jogger stopped to watch the match and offered some advice to the boys on the boundary.
The jogger was none other than cricketing great Dennis Lillee.
Felsted cricket master Mark Surridge said: "The boys were in a state of disbelief, it was a jaw-dropping moment. From out of the blue comes this legendary figure and his manner with the boys was quite delightful."
